The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has commended Union workers across the nation for proving themselves as great allies of the government and catalyst of a progressive nation, adding that the support of the workers in the country is highly commendable. The NANS National Deputy Senate President, Comrade Ekundina Elvis made this known in a statement made available to journalists in Abeokuta to commemorate the 2023 International Workers Day, jointly organised by the State Trade Union Congress and the NLC. According to the Universal Deputy Senate President, the entire students body felicitate with the workers in the State on this year’s Workers’ Day Celebration. 
He added that workers have been very supportive and their immense contributions to the development of the nation is worthy of commendation. He charged the coming government at all levels to prioritise the welfarism
