The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries has condemned the mockery of viral videos featuring testimonies from its members, stating that the church would never fabricate testimonies. The church has also advised Nigerians not to believe everything they see on the internet, describing some bloggers as “devilish” and skilled at manipulating information.

The church’s reaction comes after several trending videos of testimonies narrated by its members sparked widespread skepticism. One video featured a member claiming to have ridden on a lion, while another video showed a lady claiming to have fought off armed robbers and taken their AK-47 rifles.

However, the church’s Head of Public Relations and Media, Pastor Chidi Louis, disputed the authenticity of the videos, describing them as “doctored” and part of a bid to discredit the work of God. He urged Nigerians to visit the church’s platform to hear the complete testimonies for better understanding.

According to Pastor Louis, one of the testimonies was actually a dream account, where the lady claimed to have defeated the armed men. The church’s media department also released the full clip of the lady’s testimony, clarifying that her story happened in her dream.

The church warned Nigerians against believing everything they see on the internet, citing that some bloggers are skilled at taking things out of context and manipulating information. The church’s TikTok handle also released a statement urging the public to disregard the fake videos and seek credible information from authorized sources.
