The statement included a message from Adeleke, which read, “I, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, the Executive Governor of Osun State, extend my heartfelt congratulations to all teachers worldwide, especially those in our state, as we observe World Teachers’ Day on October 5th.
While I take great pleasure in declaring tomorrow a public holiday across Osun State, I encourage all teachers to take this day to reflect on the past, present, and future developments in our education sector.
Furthermore, I want to reiterate my commitment to ensuring that my administration does everything possible to bring joy and fulfillment to you, the esteemed educators of our beloved Osun.”
