Chief Kola Daisi is a remarkable figure in Nigeria, particularly in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State. His name is closely associated with excellence, leadership, and philanthropy. A visionary leader and dedicated philanthropist, Chief Daisi has made a lasting impact on Ibadanland, his place of origin, where he currently holds the distinguished title of Basorun. Born on September 14, 1932, into a modest family in Ibadan, he completed his elementary and secondary education locally before advancing to the University of London, where he studied Economics and Law. His impressive journey from humble beginnings to becoming a lawyer, successful businessman, and international statesman underscores his unwavering dedication. Chief Daisi embodies a unique blend of passion and vision. He spent eleven years with the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), where he rose to become Chief Executive. Additionally, he served as the Executive Director of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA). Furthermore, Chief Daisi co-founded the Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce and became its inaugural Executive Director.
