An OOU student, Komolafe Pius Pelumi aka Double P, has been located after being reported missing for several days. The 400-level student from the Department of Yoruba, Faculty of Arts, had been unreachable since leaving home on Friday, November 15, 2024. His phone was off, and his class representative noted that he hadn’t been seen since the beginning of the 2024/2025 academic session. Upon learning of his disappearance, the university initiated efforts to locate him in collaboration with local police and through community outreach. This anxious period prompted the university to encourage vigilant reporting of any sightings or relevant information related to the case.In light of this incident, the university remains committed to supporting students and staff who may be feeling anxious.
