Former Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege has conveyed his hopes for Nigeria’s economic recovery while sending Christmas greetings to the people of Delta State.
He acknowledged the challenges many Nigerians are facing due to recent federal reforms, including the removal of fuel subsidies and the unification of multiple exchange rates. However, he pointed out that these changes are already showing signs of positive economic growth.
Omo-Agege noted, “These reforms are essential for shifting our economy from an import-dependent model to one that is self-sufficient, productive, and job-creating. Attaining this ambitious long-term vision requires both patience and perseverance.”
He emphasized the importance of recognizing that these reforms are aimed at rectifying years of economic mismanagement and steering Nigeria toward sustainable growth.
