The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has officially announced the Hajj fare for the 2025 season. The fare, which was approved by the Office of the Vice President of Nigeria, ranges from N8.3 million to N8.7 million, depending on the zone of origin.

According to Professor Abdullahi Usman, the Executive Chairman of NAHCON, the fare was determined after comprehensive consultations and collaboration with key stakeholders, including the presidency and the Forum of Executive Secretaries from State Pilgrim’s Welfare Boards, Agencies, and Commissions.

The breakdown of the fare is as follows: pilgrims from the Borno and Adamawa zones will pay N8.33 million, while those from the Southern states will pay N8.78 million. Pilgrims from the Northern zone will pay N8.46 million.

Professor Usman explained that the leadership of NAHCON worked tirelessly to keep the Hajj fare consistent with previous charges. He attributed the modest fare adjustment to extensive consultations aimed at ensuring inclusivity in the decision-making process.

The chairman urged prospective pilgrims to be mindful of the timelines and adhere to Saudi guidelines. He stressed the importance of making payments early and registering on time to prevent any last-minute issues.
