Senator Omonitan Joshua (Jaydon, the SUG President, Abraham Adesanya polytechnic ijebu-Igbo has urged attendees at the CCC olorunda fresher’s Night Service held on Tuesday 4th February 2025 at the Church auditorium, Osun Road, Atikori Ijebu-Igbo to cultivate a consistent prayer life.
Senator Omonitan emphasized the transformative power of prayer, declaring that it is the key to unlocking divine blessings and academic excellence.
Senator Omonitan reminded the congregation that prayer is a vital means of communication with God. He explained that through prayer, we align ourselves with the will of God, seek guidance, and intercede for others. “Prayer is not just a religious ritual,” he asserted. “It is an essential part of our spiritual journey and a lifeline that connects us to God Almighty.”
The senator stressed the importance of consistency in prayer. He acknowledged that life can be demanding, but urged attendees to prioritize their prayer time, regardless of how brief. “Even a few minutes spent in prayer each day can make a profound difference,” he said. “Consistency builds a bridge between us and God, allowing His presence to permeate our lives.”
Furthermore, Senator Omonitan emphasized the need for specific and focused prayers. He encouraged attendees to not only pray for general blessings but academics excellence.
“When we pray with clarity and intention, we demonstrate our faith and trust in God’s ability to fulfill our desires,”
“Finally, I need you to choose between a life of limitations, on one hand,and a life of freedom, power and choices on the other hand. If you choose freedom, academics excellence then you will need prayer. The freedom, power and choice to live the life of your dreams depends on your ability to pray.” he explained.
