Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, visited the palace of His Royal Highness, Oba Adeleke Adelekan Idowu Basibo, the Alaperu of Iperu, to commiserate with the royal family and the people of Iperu Akesan over the revered monarch’s passing.
Describing the late king as a father, unifier, and a symbol of wisdom and progress, Abiodun acknowledged his impactful reign, which fostered peace, development, and unity in Iperu and beyond.
He emphasized the monarch’s unwavering commitment to his people’s welfare and the lasting legacy he leaves behind.
The governor prayed for the repose of the late Kabiyesi’s soul and divine strength for the royal family, the chiefs, and the entire Iperu Akesan community during this period of mourning.
