The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has reported that over 200,000 candidates, specifically 201,867, have registered for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) in the first week alone.

Registration for the 2025 UTME commenced on February 3 and will conclude on March 8.

This computer-based exam serves as the entry point for candidates aspiring to gain admission into Nigerian universities and other tertiary institutions.

In a recent announcement, JAMB also disclosed that it has allocated N141 million to accredited Computer-Based Test centres to facilitate the registration process within the designated timeline.
