The Vice-Chancellor has expressed heartfelt appreciation to staff members for their unwavering commitment and daily presence at work, despite the State Government’s implementation of a weekly 2-Day-Off policy.

He acknowledged the significant sacrifices made to ensure that critical functions, including examinations, lectures, and results processing, remain uninterrupted.
The University recently incurred substantial losses due to electrical faults affecting equipment worth millions of Naira, which impacted the ongoing Harmattan Semester Examinations.
In response, the Department of Works and Services displayed remarkable resilience, working diligently—even during weekends—to rectify the situation swiftly.
In light of these challenges, the Vice-Chancellor commended the dedication of all staff contributing to the University’s operations.
He urged everyone to maintain unity and collaboration as they collectively strive to advance the institution’s mission, despite any constraints posed by the government’s policies.
