Nigerian street artist Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, is seeking divine assistance as he faces legal troubles.
Recently, the Ogun State government took action against him by sealing off his uncompleted building and hotel, citing allegations of illegal construction without the necessary permits.
This led to the detention of some of his customers and employees. In light of these challenges, Portable posted a heartfelt video of himself praying fervently in church for God’s intervention. As a consequence of his current situation, he has also decided to cancel his upcoming show in London, emphasizing that his priority lies in safeguarding his family and properties.
He reassured his fans that as long as he is alive, he will have countless opportunities to perform on the global stage.Over the weekend, Portable expressed his frustration over what he perceives as a lack of appreciation from the Ogun State government for his contributions, which include installing streetlights and repairing roads.
He made an impassioned plea to President Bola Tinubu, urging him to encourage Governor Dapo Abiodun to reconsider the state’s actions against him.Additionally, Portable has publicly criticized his father, alleging that he mishandled funds intended to address issues with the police related to the sealed property.
He accused his father of abandoning him during his times of trouble and failing to provide the support he desperately needed.
