At the recent meeting of the Abuja Chapter of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Chairman Arc. Chukwudi Eze highlighted the transformative power of writing, referencing the impactful phrase “Give me liberty or give me death,” which contributed to the American Revolution and the rise of the United States as a global leader.

He praised former President Obasanjo for his exemplary leadership and expressed pride in designing the presidential library in Abeokuta, Ogun State. Eze emphasized ANA’s commitment to nurturing literary talent through initiatives such as the Poem of the Week and the Bi-Weekly Short Story Contest, along with the Young Writers’ Club, which aim to mentor and empower writers in publishing their work.

He reported that the association’s membership has grown from 59 to 753 by applying principles from the African Leadership Forum, fostering monthly gatherings that encourage critical thought and discussions to enhance the human experience.
