The Nigerian Defence Academy has advised residents of Afaka, Kauya, and Mando in Kaduna State to avoid its open range during an upcoming shooting exercise.

In a statement released to the News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday, the academy’s Public Relations Officer, Maj. Muhammad Maidawa, announced that the exercise is scheduled to occur from February 26 to March 1.

This training event is part of the advanced application of fire package for the Army Cadets of the 72 Regular Course. Maidawa emphasized that the exercise will involve live ammunition and is vital for the training and development of the cadets.
