Today’s #Omniverse2.0 first panel session was a thrilling engagement, that saw key tech leaders in entrepreneurship and government discuss how tech has been very constructive in their businesses, and what direction it should be heading.
As part of their focal points of discussion, it was agreed that collaboration is key, governments need to be highly involved, the private sector, NGOs, academic institutions, and communities need to address complex issues like poverty, inequality, and climate change that would help in building the nation we all desire.

In further discussions, they concurred that building Africa’s future requires harnessing the potential of Africa’s young and tech-savvy population to develop homegrown solutions for local challenges. And utilizing technology and digital infrastructure to improve access to information, education, healthcare, and financial services across Africa would foster better collaboration among startups, investors and policy makers.
In conclusion, fostering cross-border partnerships and collaboration between African nations for knowledge exchange is a key driver in innovation and digitalisation Omniverse 2.0.
