Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has nominated Ibrahim Yakubu Adamu, currently the Managing Director of the Kano State Urban Planning and Development Authority (KNUPDA), to be screened as a commissioner by the state House of Assembly.
Speaker Jibrin Falgore announced the nomination during Monday’s session and mentioned that Adamu would be invited for screening soon.Additionally, the assembly approved a bill to establish an infrastructure management agency aimed at improving the oversight and upkeep of public infrastructure in Kano.
Majority Leader Lawan Husseini stated that this agency will facilitate the planning, development, and maintenance of key infrastructure, including roads, bridges, and public buildings
