The Commissioner of Police for Yobe State, CP Emmanuel Ado, has extended Eid-el-Fitr greetings to the Muslim community and assured residents of increased security during the festivities.
In a statement from Police Public Relations Officer SP Dungus Abdulkarim, the police outlined their preparedness to ensure a safe celebration through visible patrols in key areas, including major routes and praying grounds. Ado advised motorists to drive responsibly to avoid accidents and urged the youth to refrain from disruptive behaviors at recreational spots.
He emphasized the need for community vigilance and encouraged citizens to report any suspicious activities promptly. Ado highlighted the importance of collective responsibility for enhancing security, aiming for a joyful and secure Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
