The Lagos State Police Command announced the rescue of two kidnap victims and the initiation of a search for their abductors.
According to spokesperson CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, the victims were taken from Ijede in the Ikorodu area on Wednesday
.
The kidnappers forcibly entered a home, killed the security dog, and abducted a 40-year-old man and his landlord’s 25-year-old daughter.
The victims were rescued unharmed on March 29, thanks to a collaborative effort from the police and other stakeholders, and have been returned to their families.
The area is now secure and under surveillance, with ongoing efforts to capture the fleeing suspects.
