The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has denied the existence of a false shortlist of candidates that is circulating online, clarifying that the information did not originate from the commission.In a statement posted on X by FCSC Chairman Tunji Olaopa on Sunday, he urged the public to reject the misleading information.
We have been made aware of a publication circulating on various social media and online platforms, claiming to inform candidates of their selection for the FCSC recruitment that closed on March 17, 2025. We categorically state that the information in these posts did not come from the commission, and these publications are entirely fictitious.
The commission also warned the public to be cautious of fraudulent recruitment schemes and individuals seeking payment in connection with job offers, emphasizing that the commission will never request money from shortlisted candidatTo clarify, once the commission has officially finalized the shortlist, selected candidates will be notified directly and the results will be publicly announced through various media outlets and on the commission’s website.
