The NUC also expressed appreciation for the Fund’s contributions to infrastructure development, research, staff training, and academic excellence, emphasizing that without such support, public education would face severe challenges.Ribadu acknowledged the flexibility of the Fund’s policies, such as suspending international scholarships to better reallocate resources for maximum impact.
He called on institutions to be more responsive and ensure that interventions are relevant and efficiently implemented.
He emphasized the importance of prudent and timely utilization of funds and encouraged open, constructive dialogue during the engagement.“This requires greater responsiveness from the institutions themselves.
