Users of X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, are currently facing a widespread outage, rendering both the website and app inaccessible.
The Elon Musk-owned social network first began experiencing issues around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 24. According to DownDetector.co.uk, user reports skyrocketed from just 66 to over 11,000 within minutes, reaching their peak at 1:39 p.m.
This incident follows a recent major disruption just days earlier. On Thursday evening, May 22, millions of users were affected by an outage that disrupted key features such as direct messages, login pages, and access to various parts of the platform across both mobile and desktop devices.
