In a heartfelt ceremony celebrating Nigeria’s Democracy Day at June 12 Cultural Center Abeokuta, Rt. Hon. Prince Suraj Ishola Adekunbi, Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly (2011–2019), honored Ajakore Walisilat Abeni, a pupil of Ansar-ud-Deen Primary School 3, Ayetoro, Yewa North, for her outstanding achievement in an essay competition themed “Technology Enhances Voter Confidence in Electoral Processes.

Her essay highlighted the potential of technology to reduce electoral fraud, ensure accurate vote counts, and promote citizen engagement.Prince Adekunbi, commended Ajakore’s intellectual prowess and her commitment to civic responsibility.

He emphasized that her success reflects the quality of education provided by public schools and the importance of nurturing young minds to become informed and active participants in Nigeria’s democratic process.

Walisilat made Ayetoro , Yewa North , Yewa land, Ogun West and Ogun State at large proud, her success serves as a charge for nations and national develop and also her achievement demonstrates that with the right support and opportunities, our youth can contribute meaningfully to national discourse and development.
