Abuja – Comrade Ekundina Segun Elvis, the Deputy Senate President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), NANS National, congratulates Egbetokun Olukayode Adeolu on his appointment as the Ag. Inspector General of Police. The association sees this as a monumental achievement for the Erinja indigene in Yewa South Local Government Area of Ogun State, and the entire state.
Comrade Ekundina, on behalf of NANS National, appreciates His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for appointing such a seasoned law enforcement officer to the role of the Ag. IGP.
We also hope that the new Ag. IGP’s performance will engender translate to perpetual peace across the nook and crannies of the federation. The country needs a proactive police force, and Adeolu’s appointment is a step in the right direction towards repositioning the police force for greater effectiveness.
Furthermore, we challenge the new Ag. IGP to discharge his duties with professionalism and integrity. His appointment couldn’t have come at a better time, and we expect him to lucidly implement Mr. President’s enviable vision for the security sector. We also anticipate that he will make Ogun State proud by representing the state and the country positively. This we hope will culminate into his confirmation as substantive Inspector General of Police by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In conclusion, we call on all Nigerians to support Ag. IGP Adeolu in the discharge of his duties and cooperate with the police force in ensuring that the country is safe and secure. We believe that his appointment will usher in a new era of improved security for Nigerians, and we eagerly anticipate a safer and more secure Nigeria under his leadership.
