The 2023 gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun State, Hon. (Dr) Oladipupo Adebutu, has expressed his deepest condolences to the family, colleagues, friends and supporters of Hon. Adewunmi Onanuga, fondly called IJAYA, who until her passing served as the Deputy Chief Whip of the 10th Assembly, Federal House of Representatives while representing Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North constituency.

In a statement released on Wednesday, January 15th, by his media aide, Adebutu described IJAYA as an exceptional leader whose dedication to public service and commitment to her people were evident in her remarkable contributions.

He emphasized that, though, she was on the platform of another political party but her leadership style and passion for community development left an enduring impact not just in her constituency but across Ogun State and Nigeria.
