Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian singer Ileri Aloba, also known as Mohbad, has once again raised doubts about the paternity of Liam, the child Mohbad left behind.
In a recent interview with Silverbird TV, Aloba stated that he has not been able to see Liam since Mohbad’s passing in September 2023.When questioned about his efforts to visit Liam, Aloba replied that it is the responsibility of the child’s caregivers to bring Liam to him and formally introduce the child as his grandson.
He also expressed his desire for a DNA test to confirm the child’s paternity, stating that the caregivers should have offered to facilitate the test.

Instead, Aloba feels that they are hiding something, and the issue has now become public.Aloba was hesitant to confirm whether he believes Liam is his grandson, deferring to the courts to make a final decision on the matter.
When asked if Liam bears any resemblance to Mohbad, Aloba responded negatively, stating “No… with what I am seeing.” When pressed further, he explicitly stated that Liam is not his grandson.
However, Aloba did leave room for the possibility that he could accept Liam as his grandson if a DNA test were to confirm their relationship. He emphasized that he would wait for the results of such a test before making any final decisions.
