All Progressives Congress has published the list of aspirants seeking seats in the House of Representatives who were screened but failed to secure clearance for the party’s primary election.
The announcement was made on Saturday in Abuja through a statement by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.According to the statement, the screening was carried out by APC’s designated committees in accordance with the party’s approved procedures and guidelines for the primaries.
Among those disqualified from Ondo State are Hon. Adefisoye Tajudeen, Olusegun Victor Ategbole, Seun Oluwashina Ajongbolo, Rt. Hon. Arowole Ayodeji Samuel, Morufu Tosin Ibrahim, Oseni Oyeniyi and Olaleye John Adedipe.Others listed include Dr. Bashir Ibrahim Bello from Bauchi State, Hon. Idu Igariwe from Ebonyi State, and Sanni Salau Ogembe from Kogi State.From Rivers State, those not cleared include Air Commodore John Azubuike Opara (Rtd), Hon. Anderson Allison Igbiki, Awaji Imombek D. Abirite and Hon. Boma Goodhead.
The party maintained that the screening process was conducted in line with its internal regulations as preparations continue for the House of Representatives primary election.
