A man named Friday Murya was fatally stabbed by his younger brother, Monday Murya, in Adamawa State over a disagreement about a N200 piece of meat.
The altercation occurred on the morning of March 9, 2025, in the Waltadi community when Friday took the meat without payment.
When Monday demanded the money, a fight broke out, during which Monday stabbed Friday. In an attempt to intervene, another brother, Sinairu, was also injured and is currently receiving treatment at a local hospital.
Friday was taken to the Modibbo Adama Teaching Hospital but later died from his injuries. The police have not yet commented on the incident.
