In a bid to demonstrate love, care, and show support to People with Special Needs in the society, the National Vice President of the Association of Female Comrades (AFC),Comrade Lateef Sofiyah Taiwo led a delegation comprising of the Ondo State AFC Coordinator, Comrade Asagunla Gbotemi Blessing and her team members on a humanitarian visit to Ago Ireti Lepers Camp, Akure, Ondo State.
The visit, which was part of the association’s efforts to give back to the society, afforded the team the opportunity to interact with the aged and vulnerable residents of the camp, as well as donate some essential and relief items such as food, clothing, and other personal effects.
The National Vice President, who was accompanied by the Ondo State AFC Coordinator and her team members, expressed the association’s commitment to promoting the welfare and dignity of all individuals, particularly the most vulnerable members of the society.She stressed that the visit was a demonstration of the association’s resolve to provide support and care to those in need, and to work towards creating a more compassionate and inclusive community.
