The Federal Government has officially designated Friday, April 18, and Monday, April 21, as public holidays in observance of Good Friday and Easter Monday, respectively.Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Minister of Interior, made this announcement on behalf of the Federal Government.
He offered sincere congratulations to Christians nationwide on this special occasion.In a statement issued by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. Magdalene Ajani, the Minister highlighted the significance of embodying the virtues of sacrifice and love exemplified by Jesus Christ, who died for humanity’s redemption. He wished all Christians a joyful Easter celebration and extended warm holiday greetings to all Nigerians.
