The University of Nigeria, Nsukka, has issued a denial of allegations of irregularities in its 2025/2026 admission process. The university describes the claims as “false and maliciously intended to discredit the integrity of the university.”
A statement issued by the Public Relations Officer, Inya Egwu, on Thursday, clarifies that the university’s admission processes are subject to oversight and validation by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board.
The statement emphasizes that the university does not operate in isolation and that every stage of the admission process is monitored, supervised, and validated by JAMB.
The university asserts that admissions are based on a clearly outlined and transparent process, and that all decisions are made in accordance with established guidelines.
