Darasimi, the estranged wife of comedian Ganiu Morufu, known as Ijoba Lande, has addressed allegations of infidelity against her. In a recent interview, she clarified that her interaction with Yoruba actor Babatunde Tayo, commonly known as Baba Tee, was limited to sitting on his lap during a “Truth or Dare” game led by her friend, Marygold.
Ijoba Lande had previously accused her of cheating with numerous men in the entertainment industry, including Baba Tee.
However, Darasimi refuted these claims, insisting that infidelity was not the reason for their marriage breakdown and challenging her soon-to-be ex-husband to provide evidence of any cheating.Darasimi described the events that led to the lap-sitting incident, stating that she met Baba Tee last July when Marygold wanted to invite him to her movie launch.
During the game, after consuming alcohol, she agreed to sit on Baba Tee’s lap, contrary to a dare that he should engage in a more intimate act.Baba Tee later admitted to having slept with Darasimi but characterized it as a brief encounter that occurred under the influence of alcohol during the game.
He publicly apologized to Lande, expressing surprise at how Darasimi became his wife without his prior knowledge.Overall, Darasimi maintains that infidelity was not the cause of her marriage’s end, although the details surrounding the incident have raised questions about the relationship dynamics.
