President Bola Tinubu extended his warm congratulations to Caleb Mutfwang, the Governor of Plateau State, on the occasion of his 60th birthday, commending him as a leader committed to the welfare of his constituents.
This message was conveyed in a statement on Wednesday by Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy.
Tinubu highlighted Mutfwang’s dedication to fostering peace and tourism in Plateau State, as well as his unwavering commitment to promoting national unity.“Your efforts to restore Plateau as a hub of peace and tourism are truly commendable.
Your resolve to enhance national development and facilitate peaceful coexistence within the state reflects your resilience and dedication to national unity,” the statement expressed.
The President also offered prayers for divine guidance and wisdom for the governor, wishing him strength and good health in his ongoing endeavors.
Caleb Mutfwang, a lawyer and former chairman of the Mangu Local Government Area, took office as the governor of Plateau State in May 2023.
To celebrate his milestone birthday, Mutfwang commemorated the occasion by engaging with orphans and providing scholarships to 60 underprivileged children, ensuring their educational needs are met from primary school through university.
