The Olabisi Onabanjo University Students’ Union Government (OOUSUG), in collaboration with Jobberman and DoIt Services, successfully hosted an informative orientation program under the Young Africa Works initiative at the OOU campus in Ago-Iwoye. This orientation specifically targeted female students, aiming to equip them with essential business skills and knowledge necessary for launching and managing successful enterprises.
Throughout the event, participants received valuable training on various aspects of running a business, including effective customer service techniques and fundamental business management principles. At the conclusion of the program, attendees were awarded certificates, which not only recognize their participation but also provide them with a significant advantage in accessing a startup loan of up to 3 million naira from any registered First City Monument Bank (FCMB). This financial opportunity is contingent upon meeting the necessary requirements and ensuring that their business proposals are well-structured and viable.
