RESOLUTION TO LONG STANDING TRANSPORTATION ISSUES.
Sequel to previous consultations and engagements between the campus shuttle drivers, school management, and students, we are pleased to inform you that, effective tomorrow, Wednesday, November 13th, 2024, all Student Union Government (SUG) buses will commence autonomous operations, conveying students across all junctions without hindrance. This development is aimed at addressing the protracted transportation challenges faced by our students. To further enhance the transportation experience, Marcopolo buses have been engaged to provide additional support to the SUG buses. This collaborative effort will ensure that students are conveyed conveniently to their respective destinations. In line with the new transportation arrangement, the following junctions have been designated each terminal: 1. Oru Terminal will be situated at Ajebo Junction. 2. Itamerin Terminal will now be operated at Yaro Ade Filling Station. 3. Konigba Terminal will operate at Lambo Lambo. Mini Campus Terminal will converge inside the school premises at the Mini Campus. To guarantee the safety and security of our students, security personnel will be strategically positioned across all junctions. We urge all students to maintain peace and cooperation during tomorrow’s operations. Any attempt to sabotage the safety of our students will not be tolerated. Please note that transportation prices remain unchanged across all junctions. We Appreciate your COoperation and understanding in this regard and are confident that this new transportation arrangement will greatly alleviate the difficulties hitherto experienced. Thank you.
